Lonnie Marshall – Board President. Lonnie was a Middle/High School teacher before retiring last year with 43 years of service (40 in Berkeley County and 3 in Loudon County). He earned is Bachelor of Arts from West Liberty State and His Master of Arts from West Virginia University.
Lonnie likes to spend time outdoors and he has taught fly fishing to the up-and-coming generation of anglers. His favorite Bible story is Jesus and Zacchaeus.

Don Sowers – Vice-President. Don has been married for 14 years to his high school sweetheart, Kelly. He is the father to Kelly’s two biological children and seven adopted children (three of which are on the Autism Spectrum). He is a graduate of Hedgesville High School and ITT Technical Institute. He brings to our board years of management and sales experience, including his own B2B experience.
Don likes to spend his spare time (as if he had any) with his family and restoring muscle cars. His favorite Bible story is the Parable of the Talents.

Barbara Hawkins – Auditor. Barbara graduated from Southern High School in Baltimore, MD and earned a degree in accounting from Shepherd University. She worked 32 years as an accountant and 2 years as an office manager for Century 21.
Barbara’s favorite Book of the Bible is Psalm 27.

John King – Church Trustee and Deacon. John and his wife Alex have 2 children, 1 dog, 2 cats, 1 bearded dragon, and a rat. John joined the Plumbing Union after high school and graduated from their five-year program. Upon passing the exam and receiving his Plumber’s License, he was promoted to Foreman and is now a Superintendent for one of the most successful mechanical contractors in the DMV.
John’s hobbies are hunting, fishing, and playing golf and his favorite Bible verse is 2 Chronicles 7:14

Bobbie Spinks – Church Trustee, Deacon and 23-year Sunday School teacher. He also has 3 years of Bible College instruction. Bobbie provided a living for his family by being a CDL driver and a retail store manager.
Bobbie Favorite Bible verses are John 14:6 and John 3:16-17
Michael Boone – Church Trustee and Deacon. Mike and his wife Kathy are empty nesters but filled their lives with 3 dogs, 4 cats, 7 hens, and 1 miniature pig.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He has been a staff engineer at Northrup Grumman Corporation for the past 43 years.
Mike’s favorite Book of the Bible is Psalm 23.
